Very easy build

This is a great beginners project. Not only is it easy, but also needs very few hand tools like pliers, screwdriver etc. It can be started right away before 'Funny Farm' is up. The only issue will be 'trueing' the cycle wheel/spokes. But don't be deterred. It really is a fun, 1 day project and you save money too. I will offer necessary help.

PS. I can help you modify it into a TANDEM (2 SEATER) later. A little more complex. Will have to wait for 'FF' - Skipper

NEVER BUY ANOTHER ASSEMBLED CYCLE

Great Chimang. I am sure you will not need my assistance [you can always go back to the shopkeeper ;-)]
Start a discussion here and put your project in it.

Take care with the wheel alignment. Also some parts may not fit, just as warned. We are still a long way from a real KIT. This requires a high degree of precision and QC by the manufacturer. Unfortunately, even the best brands out source a lot of components from small vendors owing to costs.
This makes it a challenge for the hobbyist. But it is fun.

HEEEEY everybody, bought my first cycle in bits and pieces. My dad had a fit (as will Malini). Just need to prove I can put it together. Will post details. But the wierdest part was that the shopkeeper did not want to sell it this way. Kept on saying the parts will not always fit. Lets see. Else I am sending to Bangalore. Skipper, be ready

AAAW! I just bought one a few months ago without giving it a thought. So maybe mine will be the FIRST TANDEM at FF.
Skipper, what other modifications can we make?
